It is that time of the year. Exciting and full of anticipation. The transition journey begins with a visit to each of our contributing schools. This first visit is casual. I walk around on duty wearing FVHS colours and make myself available for students. Week 1 was spent at Amisfield and this week I visited Tokoroa Intermediate. I look forward to my visits to Tainui next week and Whakamaru/Mangakino week 4.
The second visit is more formal. A formal presentation of information involves Year 9 students sharing. Information/enrolment packs are given out. Year 8 students are also told about scholarships they can apply for and finally an invitation is given to come to our Open Days.
Open Day 1 will be held on Tuesday 21st September 10 30-12 30 for Amisfield and Tokoroa Intermediate. Open Day 2 will be held on Thursday 23rd September 10 30-12 30 for Tainui, Whakamaru and Mangakino.
