We held our first Whanau evening for 2021 and what a turn out we had! It was a fabulous way to connect with many of our whanau, share a meal and build our Whanaungatanga. We shared our school vision and our expectations for our students to be successful at Forest View High School. It was wonderful to hear our whanau and staff discussing together what matters to parents and how we can best support students from a whanau perspective. Students also contributed by telling us about their experiences and how we as Kaiako can best support them at school. This has set the foundation for future hui to explore together the importance of working together for the success of your children. Thank you so much to everyone who came to our hui, we know that your time is precious and we very much appreciate it. Our doors are always open to come and have a korero, and we encourage whanau to do so.
