We are so excited to offer lunch to all students in our school every day we are open.  This initiative begun with Jacinda Adern and the Government stating "A full stomach makes all the difference to a child's learning". This began the Free Lunches in school campaign and it is a great way to make sure that our students are receiving the best chances at success in all aspects of their time at school.

We are fortunate to have an amazing team that come to school early each morning to prepare fresh nutritious lunches for our students.  The variety has been amazing and it has been pleasing to hear how grateful students are for the meals that they are receiving.  The containers, bags and utensils are all compostable which then go into our compost and worm farm, so we are making sure that our practices at school are eco friendly to the environment.

Encourage your students to tell you about their lunches each day and to try new things that are on the menu.  We want to make sure that there is little waste of food and that our students are satisfied by the lunch that they receive.
