Grant for Good Recipient

Forest View High School has been fortunate to be the recipient of the Charitable Education Grant from HealthCarePlus in 2021.

This grant will be used to fund our Duke of Edinburgh Bronze programme in 2022. This means that all costs will be covered for 10 students who are interested in taking up the challenge of the award and developing their skills across a range of areas. The funding provided from this grant will also cover the cost of all specialist equipment needed for students to participate in the hiking expeditions which occur twice throughout the year.

This is an awesome opportunity if you are looking for ways to challenge yourself and develop your outdoor skills through hiking and camping as well as getting involved in the community. https://dofehillary.org.nz/

Thank you again to HealthCarePlus for giving our students the opportunity to participate in such a prestigious award. We are looking forward to 2022!

A huge thanks to our teacher, Elise Tilsley for her work in applying for this Grant and her passion to see the Duke of Edinburgh award come alive at Forest View High School. You're awesome!
